Careprost should only be used once a day, usually recommended in the evening, or as directed by your doctor. Remove make up and contact lenses; wash hands and face prior to application. Place one drop of medication on a sterile applicator and apply immediately to lash line of upper eyelid, apply from the inner edge of the eyelid to the outer edge. Always remove excess medication from eyelid and the area around the eye with care to avoid unwanted hair growth.

Always use a new applicator to apply the medication for each eye. Never reuse an applicator to avoid infection or contamination of the medication. Careprost must never be applied to the lower eye lashes.
It is not necessary to rinse the eye if any of the medication accidentally gets into the eye; it is unlikely to cause any side effects as this medication is dropped in the eye to treat glaucoma.

If you miss a dose of Careprost, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is close to the time to apply the next dose wait to apply the dose at that time and continue with the original dosage schedule from there. Never apply multiple dosages or apply doses too often.
