The way it works
Celecobix works by stemming the production of COX-2 enzymes which are behind the pain that happens. Like in the case of menstrual pain, it is prostaglandin behind it. By blocking prostaglandin a lot of pain causes, such as cramps can be relegated.

Dosage
You should ideally take a single 100 mg tablet twice a day or a 200 mg tablet once a day. In any case it is your doctor who will recommend the dose that you are to take. It can be taken with or without food. Remember dosages vary with individual needs. Your aim is to acquire the desired solution, i.e. relief from pain, at the lowest possible dose.

Method of Ingestion

Timing
It is best taken during meals. Therefore, you should never skip meals just to take the medication. You should also not increase your dose on your own or take more than you have been told to. Missing Doses
In case you miss your regular dose, take it as soon as you remember that you should. If it is too late, take the next scheduled one but do not overdose under any circumstances.

Taking this medication can pose certain side effects in front of you which include:

In case you want to protect yourself from heart attacks by taking small doses of aspirin, again check with your doctor. Whether it is dose quantity or starting and stopping the same, you must go as per your doctor’s advice.

  • Avoid alcohol or caffeine
  • Have cobix easily available by your side
  • Minimize contact with sunlight since your skin would be more sensitive than usual while taking this medication
  • Avoid activities that require you to be alert such as driving or operating machinery
