Finpecia - 1mg

Finpecia 1 mg
Finpecia is also referred to as Generic Propecia 1 mg. it is meant for grown up men and therefore should not be consumed by women or children.
The reason hair follicles in men get damaged is because of DTH Hormone which ultimately leads to hair fall. Finpecia does the job of blocking DTH Hormone whereby hair growth is enhanced. The primary ingredient in Finpecia is Finasteride which prevents DTH Hormone from being formed in the first place, allowing hair follicles to recover and ultimately have the kind of growth they did earlier.

A single tablet is to be taken every day, with or without food. It needs to be taken for at least 3 – 6 months to see best results. Discontinuation could end up returning to the state of baldness seen previously.

Side Effects
Like many other medications containing Finasteride, there are possible side effects attached to Finpecia. Of course these side effects are seen in very few men, say about 2% of men who take the medication. Not only that, typically we see these side effects only initially; as the body gets used to the medication, side effects tend to wither away.
Side effects include:

  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Problems in ejaculating
  • Lower sexual drive
  • Breast enlargement or tenderness
  • Any kind of allergic reactions
  • Decrease in semen quantity
  • Rashes or itching

If you experience any of these side effects, it is highly advisable that you consult your doctor.
We would once again reiterate that Finpecia is not meant for women. Already pregnant or looking to get pregnant women should particularly be wary of even handling Finpecia since it can get absorbed through the skin, especially if the medication is crushed or broken. Bear in mind that the drug can potentially cause defects in a male infant in a stage of development.

Finpecia 1 mg tablets
Finpecia contains Finasteride which is used to treat male pattern baldness. Male pattern baldness is scientifically referred to as Androgenic Alopecia which affects as many as 70% of men at some point of their lives. Typically, this balding manifests itself in a receding hairline from the front as well as vertex balding.

Finasteride proves very useful in cases of BPH or Benign Prostate Hyperplasia as well. As a medication it is meant for adult men only and therefore should not be taken by women or children. Since it can be absorbed through the skin, it should not even be handled by lactating mothers or pregnant women. While Finpecia works effectively on both hairline and crown areas, it is seen to be most effective in the case of the latter.
Finasteride is FDA approved since 1992 for treating Androgenic Alopecia. While originally it was devised for treating Prostate Hyperplasia, its use in treating hair loss came forth eventually.

Methodology of the way it works
Finasteride works by disallowing testosterone to turn into potent Androgen Dihydrotestosterone or DHT. Bear in mind that it is DHT which reduces the size of hair follicles, ultimately leading to baldness and / or hair loss.

Conditions in which to avoid Finasteride
Finasteride should be avoided if:

  • You have liver disease
  • Have difficulty in urinating
  • Have disorders of the bladder
  • Are somehow allergic to Finasteride
  • You are a woman, especially if you are pregnant or lactating
