Nucoxia is manufactured in India by Zydus Pharmaceutical. It is available in a 120 mg tablet. Nucoxia is sold in packs of 10 tablets.

Nucoxia is classified as a non steriodal anti inflammatory (NSAID) drug, and a non opioid analgesic and antipyretic.

Warnings and Precautions

While taking Nucoxia it is important to follow your doctor's instructions. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage without the advice of your doctor.

Do not take Nucoxia if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients or if you have a history of allergic reaction to medications such as aspirin, celecoxib, diclofenac, ibuprofen, indomethacin, or mefenamic acid.
Symptoms of an allergic reaction include:

  • Chest tightness
  • Fever
  • Itching
  • Seizures
  • Severe cough
  • Skin with a blue or graying coloring
  • Swelling of face, throat or tongue
  • Wheezing

Serious side effects while taking Nucoxia include signs of an infection such as:

  • Fever of 100.5°F (39°C) or higher
  • Chills
  • Severe sore throat
  • Earache
  • Sinus pain
  • Cough
  • Change in amount or color of sputum
  • Painful urination

You should not take Nucoxia before discussing the merits of using the medication if you have:

  • Blood clotting disorder
  • Crohn's disease
  • High blood pressure
  • History of heart disease
  • History of stroke
  • Kidney disease
  • Liver disease
  • Stomach ulcers
  • Ulcerative colitis

Do not drink alcohol while taking Nucoxia.
Nucoxia is a category X medications. This means it is likely taking Nucoxia while pregnant will cause birth defects or damage an unborn baby and the risks outweigh the benefits of taking Nucoxia.

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and take the next scheduled dose. Do not take an extra dose to make up for the missed one.
In case of an accidental overdose get immediate medical attention.
Nucoxia must be stored under refrigeration out of the reach of children and pets.
